This card is the answer to all those plug in PCM cards that work when the mood strikes. The card is five stars, -2 for Amazon's non delivery and missing in action refund. If you have an old Toshiba Satellite LT, this is plug-n-play once you get the correct driver from the Toshiba web site. I found the card on eBay, got it in 2 days, it works fine. TWICE. I would love to review this but Amazon sent me a pair of head phones in error. I have returned both with RMA and have yet to get a refund for the canceled order. It takes some thrashing about to find the driver, but keep at it and you will eventually locate it.
XP had the drivers and it was 1-2-3. I received this item promptly and it was a snap to install. Has been working great.
This item fit my older Toshiba S1405 laptop perfectly. I am very pleased with the product and the price.
Download the driver from the Toshiba website. I was OK with that. I installed this pci card in my old Toshiba 1905-S301 - worked 100% perfect. Its a 802.11"b" protocol not a "g", so you can only get a maximum of 11Mbs(not 54Mbs)transmission rate.
This product just plain works. All in all -- a great product. Purchased this product even after others indicated that this would NOT work on a A15-S129, but for $8.00, worth a try. Installed and did some simple configuring and was able to see more access points than ever, and my own wireless network was recieved with better reception, and less errors than before.
